Marcie Padgett not only grew up in the South, but is a native to Waxhaw and has watched it change and grow from farmlands to sprawling neighborhoods. She has a bachelor degree in Interior Design with a minor in Marketing from Liberty University as well as an American Lighting Association (ALA) certification in lighting design. With a career spanning over 15 years, Marcie specializes in residential design and has a great reputation of working within budgets and a deep commitment to personal service. These principals led to the formation and success of her boutique, Southern Style, and her interior design business, Marcie Padgett Designs.
Southern Style Designs is the fulfillment of an entrepreneurial spirit that Marcie has cultivated over time, manifesting in the experience to provide great merchandise and great service at a great value.
Marcie is a breast cancer survivor and her battle is reflected in the products she curates for her customers. She prides herself in offering merchandise that is home grown (made in America), free from dyes, chemicals and toxins, all in an effort to keep your home safe for the entire family.
